Midmark stretchers have a single pedestal hydraulic design. Most Midmark stretchers have a central brake and steer function, gas-lift assisted fowler (backrest), trendelenburg / reverse trendelenburg and hydraulic height adjustment. Fold under side rails provide maximum access to the patient during treatment.
Popular models include the Midmark 520, Midmark 530 / 535, Midmark 540 / 545 and Midmark 550 / 555. The pediatric crib manufactured by Midmark was the Midmark 500.
Midmark stretchers are easy to maintain and provide years of reliable use. Other competitors with similar stretchers are Hill-Rom, Stryker, Savion and Pedigo.
