This Covidien Valleylab FX8 Electrosurgical Unit is the latest advancement in the Valleylab™ energy family. Powered by intelligent TissueFect™ technology, the Valleylab™ FX8 platform reads tissue composition in real time. It monitors and adjusts energy delivery based on tissue impedance for precise performance. Moreover, this next-generation platform ensures consistent clinical tissue effects using lower energy levels.

The FX8 supports a wide range of procedures requiring division, hemostasis, and dissection. The system offers cut, coag, and soft coag modes for surgical flexibility. Valleylab™ mode combines monopolar hemostasis and division in a single setting. Shared Coag mode allows two surgeons to operate simultaneously using one energy platform.

The FX8 offers precise monopolar and bipolar energy, five times better power control than the ForceTriad™ system, and tissue monitoring that’s 2,600 times faster than the Force FX™ generator — all while maintaining appropriate thermal spread.
