The Hill-Rom Advanta (P1600) Hospital Bed is a fully electric, adjustable med-surg hospital bed built for reliability and ease of use. Whether in hospitals, training facilities, or home care settings, it offers the perfect balance of function and comfort.

Engineered to minimize caregiver effort, the Advanta™ P1600 features a retractable frame and 4-motor system that supports multiple bed positions—including “chair-in and out,” Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg, and full head, knee, and height adjustments. Furthermore, this bed prioritizes patient safety with features like safer entry/exit, optional Patient Positioning Monitoring (PPM) bed exit system, and fall-prevention alerts—helping caregivers reduce risks and respond quickly to changes in patient status.
