Terms & Conditions
All first orders are pre-pay only. Payment may be made by credit card or company check. Hospitals, Federal Government and Educational Institutions are extended Net 30 terms with proper documentation on all orders, including first orders. All international orders are pre-pay, regardless of frequency. Net terms may be extended to all customers by completing a credit reference. Venture Medical will notify you with your payment terms after review. All orders over $10,000.00 require 50% down payment regardless of terms extended.
Returns and Exchanges:
New Equipment: All new equipment is subject to that manufacturer’s set of terms and conditions regarding return policies, restocking fees. Venture Medical will add an additional 5% to the restocking fee from the manufacturer for our administrative costs for returned items. Customer is also responsible for shipping charges to and from the location from which the item originated (Venture Medical, Winco, Pedigo, e.g.). Please check with the individual manufacturer for their return policies or call Venture Medical and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you with that information.
Refurbished/Used Equipment: Refurbished and Used equipment may be returned within 10 days of receipt. Customer must contact Venture Medical for a RGA number. All refurbished/used equipment returns will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and shipping charges to and from Venture Medical. Customer is responsible for proper packaging of return items. Items returned damaged as a result of poor or improper packaging by customer will void return and customer will be liable for total repair charges. After 10 days, Venture will maintain any warranty given until expiration. See warranty section for more details.
The customer is responsible for unpacking items and inspecting them for damage prior to signing release from carrier. Adequate inspection is required. Damage not notated on delivery ticket or bill of lading and later discovered (concealed damage) will not be covered under any warranty and Venture Medical nor the manufacturer will be held liable. Customer will be responsible for filing any claims associated with damage upon arrival. At the customer’s discretion, customer may opt to refuse item(s) that are severely damaged. Please notate damage on Bill of Lading prior to refusing shipment.
Warranty on new equipment is that of the manufacturer. Please contact a Venture Medical representative regarding any questions related to warranty terms. Most new equipment carries at least a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty on Used equipment varies from item to item. Please discuss this with your Venture Medical representative. Your warranty period on refurbished/used equipment will be notated on your invoice. The warranty information located on the invoice supersedes any other warranty information expressed or implied. The date the warranty coverage begins is the date that the item(s) are received by customer. The customer is the party which issued the purchase order or initiated the order, not necessarily the end-user. Items that require warranty service will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Venture Medical. Ship-back warranties apply to most small items that are able to be shipped by UPS or Fed Ex. Warranty will not cover misuse, mishandling, and/or use unintended for the device. Tampering with a device or service performed by a technician or person not authorized by Venture Medical will void any and all warranty.
Venture Medical will never collect your personal or business information, including payment information, for any purposes beyond sales transactions authorized by the customer. Information will never be shared or sold in any form. Your privacy is our responsibility.
