Anesthesia Patient Monitors

Anesthesia patient monitors are used to monitor patients that are sedated and under anesthetic gas during surgey.  Most anesthesia monitors include basic parameters, such as ECG (3 or 5 lead), SpO2, NIBP (Blood pressure), and temperature. The monitors also usually include a printer. For the anesthesia monitoring, these monitors would also monitor end tidal Co2 (EtCo2) and also the 5 anesthetic agents, which include:

  • Desflurane
  • Sevoflurane
  • Halothane
  • Enflurane
  • Isoflurane

Most of these monitors will include the auto ID feature, which senses which anesthetic agent is being used and monitors that gas while the patient is sedated.

Other optional features can also be required, including invasive blood pressure, cardiac output, and more.

The type of canulas used for monitoring the patient can either be proprietary from the manufacturer, or can be universal, which is much less costly. Make sure you check on the cost per case for the disposables before choosing your monitor.

We provide monitors from brands such as Datex, GE, Philips, Spacelabs, Datascope, Mindray, Biolight, and more.

Each monitor we sell is tested to factory specifications and calibrated to ensure that you will receive a monitor that works as good as it looks. Maintenance is key to anesthesia monitors so it is important to have them serviced, tested, and calibrated regularly.

Venture Medical provides anesthesia monitors both new and refurbished. We also stock accessories for most major brands, including SpO2 sensors, NIBP cuffs and hoses, ECG cables, and thermal paper rolls.
